A Christmas Message from LSC

“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.” (Isaiah 9:6) A Blessed Christmas to you!

Lutheran Services Carolinas serves the most vulnerable people across the Carolinas, from our oldest elders to our youngest children. LSC ministries include nursing homes and retirement centers, foster children, refugees, people with disabilities, people with addictions, and disaster victims. Over 2,000 teammates serve across LSC’s ministries, working every day and night and weekends and Christmas!

If you are reading this, you are in some way or ways a member of the LSC family. Our family is large, filled with residents/clients, their families, teammates and their families, donors, volunteers, business partners, and friends.  It takes a village, and you are part of that village.

In 1960 our village came together to follow the Son foretold in Isaiah. That effort has evolved and grown into the ministry family you are a part of today.

I wish every one of you a Blessed Christmas. If you are an LSC teammate and you are working any shift in any department during Christmas and New Year’s, thank you for sharing yourself to care for our residents and clients.

Yours in Christ,

Ted W. Goins, Jr.

President
