When Things Are Bad, We Bring Our Best

Lutheran Disaster Response (LDR) is an organization that collaborates with other religious entities and Lutheran Services Carolinas is the lead affiliate for Lutheran Disaster Response in the Carolinas.

That means when disaster strikes in North or South Carolina, and after local emergency agencies have responded, LSC works with Lutheran Disaster Response to support long-term relief and recovery efforts for those in need.

Some of the disaster relief services we provide include the following:

  • Emotional and spiritual care as needed
  • A volunteer network on the scene
  • Long-term recovery efforts

When the dust settles after a disaster and attention shifts elsewhere, Lutheran Services Carolinas, in conjunction with Lutheran Disaster Response, stays on the scene to provide whatever’s needed. To learn more about LSC’s disaster response capabilities, call 1-800-Helping.
