ACTT Nurse

Position Purpose/Summary
The Assertive Community Treatment Team (ACTT) is designed to serve as a comprehensive treatment team providing for the periodic service needs of consumers with severe and persistent mental illnesses. The majority of services are provided in the consumer’s home/community. This employee will function as a clinical member of the ACT Team, providing needed nursing services, psychotherapy, and support services under the supervision of the team leader and/or the team psychiatrist. The ACTT Nurse is responsible for conducting psychiatric assessments; assessing physical health needs; making appropriate referrals to community physicians; and managing and administering medications in conjunction with the psychiatrist. The Nurse (along with the entire team) is expected to help consumers avoid re-hospitalization and episodes of crisis care; achieve recovery from mental illness/substance abuse issues; meet basic sustenance needs; and improve their overall quality of life, per consumers’ report. Although all services provided are included in the person-centered-plan and performed under the supervision of the ACTT program manager and psychiatrist, such supervision does not involve immediate oversight of all job functions. Therefore, this employee conducts most of his/her work independently with a high degree of freedom to act based on clinical judgement.

Adult Services Director

Position Purpose/Summary

Adult Services Director will oversee and ensure the fiscal and operational compliance of two diverse service lines: Community Training Home Foster Care (CTHI) and Community Training Home Residential Programs (CTHII). Coordination/Advocacy with regional authorities, DDSN and DSS will also fall under the scope of the Director. He/She will be responsible for implementing and maintaining services in the Midlands and PeeDee area of South Carolina and/or as specified by the Executive Director. He/She will supervise and manage two regional managers and a licensing and recruiting specialist.The position may require periods of travel to provide leadership and supervision wherever the service or services are being delivered.

Education/Experience:

Education: Master’s Degree preferred; or Bachelor’s degree

Experience: Master’s Degree and minimum of 3 years related adult services and administrative experience required; including supervisory experience. Or Bachelor’s degree and 7 years experience in foster care/social work/human services/adult residential; administrative experience required; including supervisory experience.

Specific skills/abilities: Program Development and Planning. Awareness and sensitivity to the service population’s cultural and socioeconomic characteristics. Ability to analyze and interpret data. Ability to mediate and resolve management team issues, demonstrate flexibility and have the ability to work independently.

Foster Care Case Manager

Position Purpose/Summary

IAFT Care Coordinator

IAFT Program Manager

Position Purpose/Summary
This position will be responsible for developing and growing Intensive Alternative Family Treatment Services in identified regions in the state of North Carolina. The IAFT Program Manager will be responsible for supervision of the IAFT Team and for cofacilitating clinical intervention team meetings. This position will be responsible for providing direct care to children served and their treatment parents. Coverage for 24/7 crisis calls and on-site provision of crisis services for consumers will be provided by the Program Manager. The IAFT Program Manager will use Evidence Based Practices to serve consumers in this program, and train staff, families, and consumers regarding appropriate clinical interventions. Additionally, the Program Manager will be responsible for recruiting and training families in the IAFT program.
