Rixman named chief development officer of Lutheran Services Carolinas

Lutheran Services Carolinas (LSC) is happy to announce that Heidi Rixman has been named its chief development officer.

She has 25 years of experience in education and human services fundraising, including 6 years at LSC as director of development.

“We are thrilled Heidi’s call to serve and LSC’s need are so aligned,” said LSC President and CEO Ted Goins. “Heidi has been preparing for this role her entire career which will benefit all of the residents and clients of LSC.”

Rixman graduated with a bachelor of arts in English from Delaware Valley University and a master of science in nonprofit management from Eastern University, both in Pennsylvania. She has been a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) since 2020.

In 2011, she was named Outstanding Fundraising Executive of the Year by the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) New Jersey, Southern Chapter.

Rixman is currently the president of the Blue Ridge Chapter of the Association of Lutheran Development Executives (ALDE).

She is a member of Community in Christ Lutheran Church in Cornelius, North Carolina.
